Financial assistance: direct loans?
I took a few direct loans in the past for my studies. I graduated in December 2007 and not recorded in the spring of 2008, but enrolled in fall 2008 in the hope of entering a program of study higher. I have enough hours for me to designate as part time. My options for my loan payments are on the kick but as I am registered half time or more to be postponed again I think. Is it necessary to contact and direct loans that they know or check the National Student Center or another source for this information? I was under the assumption that only Would-check, but I have to contact them?
As State signed MPN is ultimately your responsibility to notify the lender of their progress. Direct Loan check NCH but better safe than sorry. Let them know that you are qualified for deferred payment of school before the end of your grace period, and will be there for you when you complete your next level of schooling. Good luck
